Former U.S. President and 2024 president nominee, Donald Trump, was convicted on all 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records in a New York court yesterday (May 30, 2024). This verdict marks Trump as the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime. Elon Musk expressed concern over the conviction, suggesting it could lead to a loss of faith in the American legal system. The case has also triggered a huge wave of posts on social media, including those about the rights and responsibilities of felons in the U.S. electoral system.
