Alex Murashko is the founder of Media on Mission, a ministry aimed at encouraging journalists and media types who are living out their faith in Jesus Christ. The ministry aims to support journalists working in secular or faith-based media outlets whose work for God’s kingdom should come to the forefront.
Murashko is on the Writing Team for Think Eternity, a ministry website dedicated to “powerful faith content to help you live the fulfilled life in Jesus.”
He has more than 4 decades in media-related work, including reporting community news for the Los Angeles Times, education coverage for the Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif., and editor and reporter for The Christian Post’s Church & Ministry section.
Other media-related experiences include serving as a former social media team leader for a large church in Southern California, ad copywriter for an online shopping site, and content writer for a travel book publisher.
Murashko is blessed with an incredible wife, who loves God, walks on the beach and ocean breezes as much as I do… if not more.
His current freelance work includes reporting for the Washington Times.
