Shannon Bream: ‘We’re Not Called to Carry Out Anyone’s Political or News Agenda’
In a recent interview with CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) News, media personality Shannon Bream continued to share the Gospel and point to Jesus Christ while working in an industry that includes platforms that host misleading and skewed perspectives.
Bream, who is the Fox News Sunday host and chief legal correspondent for the network, was “the first woman to anchor ‘Fox News Sunday’ in the show’s 26-year history.” CBN also stated that Bream “may talk politics for her job, but it’s not her priority.”
“We’re not called to carry out anyone’s political or news agenda,” she said during CBN’s Faith in Culture podcast. “As believers, we’re called to carry out Christ’s agenda, which is to reach people.”
“Shannon Bream is a talented journalist who has a penchant for asking insightful questions. The FOX News anchor is also a faithful Christian with a unique worldview that sets her apart from many of her media peers,” CBN TV host Billy Hallowell said in his podcast found at Media on Mission.
Bream says on her website: “I’m a Jesus follower, author, and national media host – and I’m passionate about helping people find hope and inspiration in their lives through Scripture.” Her new book, Nothing is Impossible With God is available on her website.
